Tour Plan
Day 1 — Departure from Home
Travel: Overnight flight
Begin your family safari adventure with an overnight flight to Tanzania. Relax on board and prepare for unforgettable wildlife experiences.
Day 2 — Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport → Arusha
Distance & Time: 50 km | ±1 hour
Arrive in Tanzania. Meet your professional safari guide at the airport. Transfer to your lodge in Arusha. Rest after your journey and enjoy a safari briefing.
Overnight: Arusha Planet Lodge
Day 3 — Tarangire National Park → Karatu
Distance & Time: ±190 km | 4.5–5 hours
Drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy game drives among elephants, giraffes, zebras, and baobab trees. Tarangire is ideal for families and wildlife viewing.
Continue to Karatu in the afternoon.
Overnight: Kudu Lodge, Karatu
Day 4 — Ngorongoro Crater → Serengeti
Distance & Time: ±250 km | 6–7 hours
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater. Spot lions, elephants, buffalo, and possibly black rhinos. After lunch, drive toward Serengeti National Park with wildlife viewing along the way.
Overnight: Katikati Tented Camp, Serengeti
Day 5 — Full Day Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day on safari in the Serengeti. Explore open plains and river areas. Look for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large herds. Enjoy flexible game drives suitable for families.
Overnight: Katikati Tented Camp
Day 6 — Fly Serengeti → Zanzibar → Nungwi
Transfer to the Serengeti airstrip. Fly to Zanzibar. Meet your driver on arrival and transfer to Nungwi in northern Zanzibar.
Check in and relax by the beach. Overnight: Amaans Beach Bungalow
Day 7–9 — Zanzibar Beach Holiday
Enjoy free days on Zanzibar’s white sandy beaches. Swim in the warm Indian Ocean. Optional activities include snorkeling, spice farm tours, and cultural visits. Perfect for families and relaxation. Overnight: Amaans Beach Bungalow
Day 10 — Departure Home
Travel: International flight
