Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your private Lille Bille Safari guide will warmly welcome you to Tanzania. Enjoy a scenic drive to your luxury lodge in Arusha, where you can relax. As the African sun sets, take in the peaceful atmosphere and prepare for the unforgettable adventure that awaits.
Day 2 – Tarangire National Park
The Kingdom of Elephants
After breakfast, your family safari begins with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a land of ancient baobab trees and one of Africa's largest elephant populations. Enjoy your first exciting game drive as your guide searches for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, and an incredible variety of birdlife. Children and adults alike will delight in watching wildlife roam freely across the vast savannah. As the afternoon light paints the landscape in golden hues, continue to your lodge, where warm hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and the sounds of the African wilderness create the perfect ending to your first day on safari.
Day 3 – Lake Manyara National Park
Where Adventure Begins
After breakfast, set off for the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park, a hidden gem known for its lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, and shimmering soda lake. Keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, hippos, playful monkeys, colorful birdlife, and the park's famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy an unforgettable walk along the Manyara Treetop Walkway, where suspended bridges lead you high above the forest canopy for a unique perspective of nature. After an exciting day of exploration, continue to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, where breathtaking views across the Great Rift Valley and exceptional hospitality provide the perfect setting to relax before tomorrow's adventure.
Day 4 – Ngorongoro Crater
A Day Inside Africa's Natural Wonder
After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend the day exploring the crater floor, home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and, with a little luck, the endangered black rhinoceros. After a picnic lunch surrounded by breathtaking scenery, continue your game drive before returning to your lodge for a relaxing evening.
Day 5 – Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport
Farewell Tanzania
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before beginning your journey back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, there may be time to browse local craft shops or simply enjoy the beautiful scenery one last time. Your guide will then transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, taking home unforgettable memories of Tanzania's incredible wildlife, breathtaking landscapes, and the special moments shared together as a family.
